First, what would motivate a man to write an article putting forth baseless conjecture as to the motives of another man or group? Your very title-question is inaccurate as it suggests that the Nation of Islam has been in “hiding.” The Members of the Nation of Islam under Farrakhan have been a consistent presence in every major city in the US for over 35 yrs. He has spoken in HUNDREDS of universities, HUNDREDS of churches, nearly every country in the Middle East, Africa, and the Carribean–emas well as Russia and China; and he has been a consistent voice for oppressed people all over the planet. You even unashamedly use phrases such as “I suspect” in your weak attempt to malign his motives for visiting the communities that he has always defended. If the masses of people love him, respect him, and treat him w/ honour, what is the true source of your discontent? Is it envy? Jealousy?
